Pricing
Splitstream is open source. The pricing page exists to set expectations honestly — there's no hosted tier, no per-seat plan, no free trial.
Self-host
foreverClone the repo, run it on your own infrastructure. The whole platform is MIT-licensed.
- ·Unlimited experiments, variants, metrics
- ·Unlimited team members

Hosted SaaS
not offeredSplitstream is a portfolio demonstration, not a hosted product. If you need a hosted experimentation platform, Statsig / Eppo / GrowthBook are the names to know.
- ·Not a hosted service
- ·No SLA, no oncall, no enterprise SOC2
- ·The demo URL is a single EC2 instance
- ·Treat the live demo as a static portfolio piece
Why the framing matters
A common pattern in this space: a portfolio project gets dressed up as a SaaS product, complete with mocked pricing tiers and a sign-up flow that goes nowhere. It makes the demo look more impressive while telling a small lie about what the demo actually is.
Splitstream takes the opposite approach. The honest framing — "here is what I'd build for you on your infrastructure, with the math calibrated to your traffic" — closes more engagements than a fake free-tier ever would.
